Death looks appetizing because that’s what we were conditioned for.
(Today I feel a little poetic.) I even started off this message in brackets. So - let’s go!
“Seek first the kingdom of God… (Matthew 6:33)”
Get your morning intake.
Your morning intake is not only BarleyMax. Your morning intake must begin with the Word, prayer and meditation.
God’s word must be consumed
otherwise you will be ruined.
Your levels must be topped up for your efficiency. There are several levels: Food Level, Word Level, Sleep Level, Fitness Level, Fellowship Level, etcetera.
If you’re not efficient you are deficient (in some area).
We become efficient and effective as we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
As we seek God we will be guided into topping up our levels. Obedience is extremely important.
If you don’t obey you will pay.
Your disobedience to God and his word is obedience to someone else and their word. That person is Satan.
Satan has been against God before man was created.
Everything God does or commands us is good and it is for the good of all. If we disobey him we are saying that he is NOT the end all of knowledge and wisdom. Our disobedience says that we think that we know best. If this is the case then this is what we are filling up on. We are filling up on self which is exactly what Satan did. We are copying Satan if this is how we function. If we follow or copy him we will get his results.
Keep in mind that Satan’s end is not good. So, if we follow him we will end up where he ends up. Something to think about.
What God wants us to fill up on will only bring about a good end for us. There is a dividing line here. Who will we serve?
Who we serve will show up in our life. It’s all about input and output. The feedback reveals what was eaten or taken in and we all choose what we take in.
We need to watch our intake (our diet).
Our intake (diet) will reveal the kind of moves we make.
To be continued…

So… this morning I was in a conversation with a colleague about business practices. We got into talking about integrity and consistency.
I found it really cool how I have developed just by my Meditation on scripture. I have come up with catch phrases like, “Consistency brings forth efficiency,” and “integrity is doing the right thing all the time.” These are things that I “caught” during my time of meditation on scripture. Now grant it that many may know of these things but these were birthed in me and are being developed in me. These are not just catch phrases these are principles to live by.
Business is more than just a product or service provided to a customer. It’s more than that. It is the intrinsic value in that person that is brought forth for the purpose of serving people. A business is as great as the principles, practices and system put in place and practiced. A business functions on principles.
Think of your life as a business. How are you running it? What principles, practices and system do you have in place for effective functionality.
Remember that your function is to effectively serve people (see Matthew 6:33).
TODAY’s focus is still Matthew 6:33.

“Food is good .. no matter what as long as it's tasty it's good.”
“Nope, not necessarily. Not all foods are good my friend. Just because it tastes good does not make it good.
Remember that your body is the temple of Holy Spirit. You are responsible for taking care of it. Sometimes that means that you must bypass the taste to get the power and the health you need so that you can be a better servant.
Eat To Serve.
