*Eat To Serve*
This actually goes quite deep but I’ll be brief here.
If you add the Meditation dimension to it it’s quite fascinating.
As one meditates on scripture one is eating that scripture and in so doing they are being filled up with it.
Whatever one is filled up with is what one serves.
So, on a day by day basis we are actually serving a “word” to each other.
By this I do not necessarily mean that we are “speaking” words to each other. A word is a seed and within that word there is anointing or power. That anointing causes one to “move” or “act” that word or live that word.
Example: If I bless someone with food or something that will benefit them, I am actually living out a word. If I am focused on and I am meditating on “love thy neighbor as thy self,” the action of me serving someone is an outpouring of that infilling.
The longer I meditate in that word of, “love thy neighbor as thy self,” I will be filled up with more of it’s knowledge, wisdom and active anointing which will lead me into it’s action. The action follows the word. Yes, we all follow thoughts. If I keep focusing on and meditating on that word, it has no choice but to find expression in my life.
Keep that in mind when you CHOOSE words or thoughts to dwell on and keep this in mind when you CHOOSE what types of food you put into your body. Yes, consider it well.
Are you Eating with the purpose of serving or are you simply serving the flesh and baser appetites.
Eat To Serve.
